In den WarenkorbHardback. Zustand: Very Good Plus. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. First Edition. 2022. First edition. xi, 242pp. Inserted into an envelope that has been attached to the front free endpaper is a handwritten and signed letter from Roger Scruton (we believe the letter to be from 1972). In the letter, Scruton protests about being overcharged for his stay in Edinburgh, having been charged "for a bed that I did not sleep in and a breakfast that I did not eat." The book is bound in the original black boards with silver titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean. The unclipped dustwrapper is very good with light shelf wear. In this book are assembled the best of Rogers Scruton's columns and commentaries, arranged thematically. He writes about such varied topics as feminism, racism, fascism, Tony Blair, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. In all cases he takes aim at those who defy conservative common sense in favour of liberal falsehoods. He also discusses Michel Foucault, Male Domination, The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and the Triumph of Nothingness. SIGNED Letter.
