Sobre a obra Responsabilidade Civil nas Relações de Trabalho - 1ª Ed - 2024 Homenagem a Valdir Florindo Há tempos, o Direito evolui no sentido de reconhecer a supremacia das questões existenciais frente às patrimoniais. A referida realidade ganha relevância nos casos em que a relação jurídica em razão da qual há o desenvolvimento das relações intersubjetivas é, por si, também ligada à salvaguarda do respeito à condição humana e suas necessidades mais básicas. Nesse grupo inclui-se a relação de trabalho e, com maior intensidade, a relação jurídica empregatícia.             Seja em razão do extrapolamento dos limites do poder diretivo patronal, seja em razão de condutas indevidas por parte dos trabalhadores ou de outros stakeholders, o fato é que há de se garantir a proteção aos direitos da personalidade inclusive e principalmente no âmbito das relações laborais.             Em tempos nos quais o tema ainda experimentava desenvolvimento, o dano moral nas relações de trabalho já havia sido mapeado pelo Desembargador Valdir Florindo, do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 2ª Região, quando ainda exercia a nobre profissão da advocacia. Sua obra (Dano Moral e o Direito do Trabalho, editada pela LTr em 1996) é considerada como um dos marcos do estudo e do desenvolvimento do tema nos domínios do Direito do Trabalho brasileiro.             Ao lado disso, não se pode negar a relevância da reparação dos danos materiais, também verificáveis de diversas formas e em diversos momentos no âmbito das relações de trabalho.             Por isso, nada melhor do que reunir mais de trinta profissionais do Direito para se debruçarem sobre diversas questões afetas à responsabilidade civil nas relações de trabalho, em estudos redigidos em homenagem ao Desembargador Valdir Florindo, como forma de reconhecimento por todos esses anos de estudo e dedicação ao nobre e belo Direito do Trabalho brasileiro.             Para tanto, decidimos preservar a liberdade de cada autor, que pode utilizar a metodologia de sua preferência, tanto na pesquisa quanto na elaboração dos textos que integram esta obra.
