Offering gardening advice and tips as well as insightful horticultural articles, Robinson's journal is a brilliant guide for any avid gardener wishing to master their craft. This work initially appeared in parts from 1857 to 1860. Staunton spent most of his later life writing about Shakespeare and was a highly regarded Shakespeare scholar. He was also considered the world's strongest chess player from 1843 to 1851. Uniformly bound in full calf by Zaensdorf. Externally, very smart. Lightly rubbed to the joints and raised bands of the spines, with a little bumping to corners of the boards. Small loss to the front board of volume I.
