Title page undated, but published in 1882, this is a very scarce limited-edition printing of this history of Oswestry Grammar School in Shropshire, one of only 25 copies printed, this example bound in a quarter leather binding, just over 9 inches tall, 88 pages and illustrated with two plat…es. CONDITION The covers have some noticeable discolouration to the cloth binding, some mild rubbing to leather. Internally title page foxed. Most of the pages remain unopened along top edge (see pictures) this is best resolved using a blunt edge, a plastic credit card works well, rather than a sharp knife. A GOOD ACCETPABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS SCARCE BOOK.
