Vintage photograph of director Robert Wilson and assistant director Ann Christin Rommen during a workshop for the premiere of the 1992 production of the 1794 play. Photograph with a mimeo snipe label and a photographer's label on the verso. The play premiered at the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas on October 30 and closed on Nov…ember 14, 1992. Wilson's staging of the canonical 1794 play was Wilson's first project as Artistic Associate of Houston's Alley Theatre, and was produced after an eight month creative process led by Wilson as the production's director and designer. Set in during the French Revolution. 7 x 5 inches. Two small pinholes to the upper left margin, else Near Fine.

Vintage borderless photograph from the December 5, 1974 to January 5, 1975 performances at Théâtre des Variétés in Paris, part of the Festival d'Automne, of the 1974 play, with a Philippe Gras photographer's stamp and annotations on the verso. Wilson's first work for the stage with spoken text. The theatrical piece premiered at…the Festival dei Due Mondi in June 1974, and was subsequently performed later that year in La Rochelle and Paris. It also played a short season in March-April 1975 at the ANTA Theatre on Broadway. Nominated for a 1975 Tony Award for Best Original Score for composer Alan Lloyd. 9.5 x 7 inches. Near Fine.
