A renowned record producer is tasked with managing a wholesome, white pop act, but secretly decides to buck the project in favor of working on the debut album of a band whose music he respects (Earth, Wind and Fire). The film's soundtrack by Earth, Wind, and Fire would eventually become one of the group's best-selling albums. Shot on location in Los Angeles and New York.
