All things change and impermanence itself is built into the fabric of the universe. Be mindful of each moment for its own sake, appreciating and enjoying what is now without either regret for the unalterable past or yearning for an unknowable future. Respect and compassion for all life drives those of us who care for our environment and all the creatures that share our planet.The author was in Nepal during the Diwali Festival and the book captures the atmosphere, excitement and rituals that make Diwali (aka the Festival of Lights) so special.
