Publication notice says signed by author and photographer, but this copy signed on title page only by photographer Robert Luthey . Paper portfolio moderately worn and with some staining to covers, internally fine.

Haiku is an expression of a seventeen-syllable verse which was mastered by such poets as Basho, Buson, and Issa. Eunice Tetjens has said of this verse form, "Its condensation sharpens at best into a single point of blue flame beside which other poetry seems over-expansive and long-winded."The photographs are resting in an illustrated folding envelope.
