Possibly from the first edition of an attractive and entertaining series of caricature prints, showing fashions and foibles among society folk of Augsburg.The caricatures were conceived, painted and drawn by the lawyer, artist, illustrator and portraitist Joseph Franz von Göz (1754-1815), credited with the creation of the first graphic novel (Leonardo und Blandine, 1783). Plate 32 is titled: 'Et moi je l'ai touvée.' represents a standing man in profile. Dressed in eighteenth-century attire, with his left hand in a pocket. Signed below: 'J.f.De Göz delineavit / R. Brichet Sculp', with address below: 'Se vend a' Augsb. dans le Neg. comun del'Acad.' Numbered above on the right.
