Vintage one sheet poster for the 1979 film. Director, screenwriter, and choreographer Bob Fosse's triumphant and uncompromising autobiographical masterpiece, often compared to Fellini's "8 1/2," wherein an overworked, obsessive choreographer's womanizing and drug use gradually destroy his relationships, and ultimately threaten to take his life. Credited by Fosse as having been loosely inspired by Hilma Wolitzer's 1974 novel "Ending." Winner of four Academy Awards, and nominated for another five including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor. Winner of the Palm d'Or. Set in New York City, shot on location in New York City. 27 x 41 inches. Folded as issued. Very Good plus. National Film Registry. Criterion Collection 724. Rosenbaum 1000. Schrader Canon Fodder. Scorsese, A Personal Journey Through American Movies.

Vintage borderless reference photograph from the 1969 film, showing actress Joanna Shimkus. Mimeo snipe on the verso. From the collection of artist and author Duncan Hannah. Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. Loosely based on F.L. Green's 1945 novel "Odd Man Out." A Black militant intends to rob a factory payroll in order to aid his imprisoned revolutionaries, but through an unexpected turn of events he is forced to rely on a young social worker to help pull off the heist. 7.5 x 9.25 inches.
