Zustand: Good. 96 pages. No dust jacket. Green pictorial cloth with gilt decoration and lettering. Contains colour illustrations. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges.

No foxing, previous owner has name written on a presentation sticker inside front board, they have tried to delete the name and date.

This is a Good Copy of this Book in publisher's original pictorial red cloth with green and black title lettering to the upper cover and spine.This copy has one former school prize plate to the ffep.The work has been nicely illustrated with several coloured plates and further b&w drawings by John Hassall.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.There are one or two stain marks to the cloth at bottom edge of the upper cover with some spotting to the endpapers present.Interestingly laid in at the back of the book are two School Board For London Certificates dated 1887 and 1890 on stiff card.There can't be a lot of these left around in circulation.The book is Undated but is Circa 1910 4to unpaginated approx 70pp.
