First Edition. octavo ca. 5" x 9" bound in stiff paper wraps with moderate wear and soiling, binding sound, psper title on backstrip becoming frayed, dampstain at lower bound corner that is generally faint, but visible, rarely affects text, second smaller dampstain at back half of book at lower unbound corner, but not affecting text, except on last text page where it comes halfway up the page, otherwise contents generally, very good. pp. [4], 102, with folding map ca. 16" x 20" showing present day New Jersey and northward into south Canada. Map is in very good or better condition. Dampstain does not affect map area. Howes L45 states that some copies are on heavier paper. This is one of those on heavier paper, but the first 2 leaves are lighter paper. Overall, a good copy in early or original binding. No names or bookplates noted. text in Dutch.
