Browning to endpapers and some quite heavy foxing to tissue guards and surrounding areas. Browning to title page. Faint browning to pages throughout. Light crease to corner of prefatory note. Inscription to previous owner on front pastedown and the bookplate of a further owner on the reverse of the frontispiece. Frontispiece is slightly loose at the top of the page. One of a limited edition of 600 copies. 212pp.6 b/w engraved plates by the British artist Charles de Sousy Ricketts (1866-1931).
