Draft script for the second episode of the 1980 television series, printed on pink leaves, which aired on ABC on March 21, 1980. "When the Whistle Blows" premiered on ABC on March 14, 1980, and aired for ten, one-hour episodes, ending on July 20, 1980. Five construction workers, four guys and a gal, work for the Tri-State Construction Company in Los Angeles, and are looking for fun on and off the job, often frequenting the neighborhood saloon, Darlene's. Hunk (Tim Rossovich) has a thing for Jolene (Gail Edwards), a singer at Darlene's, until Buzz (Douglas Barr) tells him she was "a lady of easy virtue" in Reno. Front wrapper integral with title page, with the latest revision dated 1/23/80, with credits for screenwriter Rick Husky. 66 leaves, with last page of text numbered 56. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue, yellow, and green revision pages throughout, dated variously between 1/18/80 and 1/23/80. Second Revised Draft script for the 1985 television film, which aired on CBS on October 5, 1985. Laid in is a 36-page Shooting Schedule, dated April 4, 1985. A tough Wyoming Police detective, Amanda Rider (Lisa Hartman), teams up with the laid back Beverly Hills Police detective, Harry Wilde (James Brolin), in the search for a killer who murdered Rider's friend back in Wyoming. Featuring David Hemmings as the smarmy antagonist Ian Blaize, who employs a cross-dressing kickboxer bodyguard. Shot on location in Southern California, Beverly Hills, Malibu, and Los Angeles, California. Beige titled wrappers.
