Signed and dated 2002 by the author, with special inscription to friend Marshall Criser, [Jr.], who was the former president of the University of Florida (UF), an influential Florida attorney, civic leader, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of UF at the time of the signing. Overall condition is Very Good. Jacket has mild creasing and wear, cover boards are smooth and unmarred, and the interior pages are clean and bright. It's a very nice copy! Great for any lover of Floridiana and extra-special for grads or associates of the University of Florida in Gainesville! Rick Dantzler (1956-) is an American/Florida attorney specializing in agricultural law, former politician (Florida State Senator) and writer. Paul Schulz (1960-) is a Florida wildlife and nature artist. His illustrations for this book closely mimic the intricate metal engravings his grandfather created for the US Mint.
