No Jacket. 1st Edition. 8vo, i-xvi, 206 pp, portrait frontispiece photograph of Maud Huntley Jenks, black and white photographs, drawings and maps by Mrs Royal N Chapman. Original orange decorated cloth rather faded on the spine, some toning to the pages due to the quality of the paper used, oval stamp of the Bontoc Hotel on the title page and one chapter heading, previous owner's signature on the title page. Overall a very good copy, scarce. A fascinating account by an American woman living in the Philippine island of the Luzon between 1902 -1904.
