It tells the tale of a bunny named Nicholas who describes the simple pleasures of the changing seasons.

Final page torn out by previous owner; Good only. Inscribed by Richard Scarry and his wife and collaborator Patricia "Patsy" Scarry at title page: "To Jack from Aunty Patsy and Uncle Richard." With Jack Scarry's later ownership stamp to copyright page. Provenance: Purchased directly from Jack "J.J." Scarry, nephew of Richard. One of Scarry's earliest works.
