Wraps. Zustand: Good. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Large hand-bound publication, measuring just over 18 inches in height and 12 inches in width. The front cover depicts a mural painting depicting Honor as a special presentation book specifically made for the Mason Freeland L. Huston, with a full-page, hand colored document signed by Elwood E. Rice. The remaining pages are quotes, known as Inspirations from Man of Character and Achievement, printed on pressed paper of which there are five additional pages. The front page document and the rear page both are protected with a clear sheet and the whole book is bound with a knotted silk rope. There is no publication date listed on any of the pages, though the book appears to be from around 1940-42, based on some of the names on the quotes that are listed as still being alive. The book itself shows scuffing and soiling on the exterior but the interior has been protected over the years. There is no handwriting or bookplates, nothing torn or loose, no library markings or anything of that nature. The worst part of the book is the outside cover, which shows all the smudge marks and stains. Signed by Author(s). …
