Difícil escribir, más aún cuando no creo en la palabra como traducción de cualquier obra: lo que me anima a realizar estas aproximaciones es la fascinación que me produce la obra "Cuervo", de Ricardo Fuentealba Rivera. Atrapado en una serie de imágenes visuales y textos, me deslicé en esa suerte de eterno present…e en que se desarrolla su discurso. Definitivamente, no lo veo como una historia con sus desarrollos lineales, sino, a lo que más me aproxima, es a la poesía visual, algo que, sin dejarse encasillar en ningún territorio, se desplaza a partir de su propio ímpetu. En cada imagen, sea texto o dibujo, se contiene todo este transcurrir. Y van cayendo las imágenes en esa eterna noche, en el negro que rompe toda noción de tiempo. Para este cuervo la idea de presente no sirve, no pasamos de un estado de ánimo a otro; más bien, vemos desfilar, simultáneamente, todos nuestros fantasmas, todos nuestros ángeles, todo el horror y el esplendor de eso que llamamos vida. Nuestros pies de algodón también permiten desplazarse con delicadeza por estos dibujos y textos que no se ilustran mutuamente: se tensionan.
