The bottom edge of the spine strip is frayed; the top edge is less so. One board corner is threadbare. The top end of the text block is black, but it is a little faded by the spine. The binder's glue has darkened part of each endpaper, mostly on the pastedown. The pages are lightly tanned. An owner's name and a date in 1935 are on the title page. DJ: The spine panel has darkened and is chipped on each end.
