Original yellow wrappers bound in at rear, 1925 from only and chipped to bottom outer corner with internally closed bottom edge nick, others VG. 3 blanks leaves + vii + pagination continuous to p. 505 + 2 blanks leaves, wit…h breaks at p.122 and 426 but numbers after 122 resume on 133 (with an intervening t.p. and contents leaf) unclear why and may be an error. Condition generally excellent, being tight and unmarked but a few minor edge nicks which will be addressed when ordered. Unclear if missing Index ever appeared. Otherwise complete sets quite scarce, probably due to long interval between Parts II and III. The Santals are a major ethnic group spanning north-east India, northern Bangladesh Bhutan and Nepal. Only copies of the second title matched on JISC. 23.5 cm x 28 cm.
