The story surrounds an important journey, filled with situations to overcome and people to help along the way. Written by the Rev. Norman Macleod, a Scottish clergyman and author, who served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1869-70. Macleod wrote the moral tale for his own children, to instill notions of right and wrong. Illustrated with seven plates, a frontispiece and additional vignette engravings. Collated, complete.
