THE FRONT BOARD HAS VERY SLIGHTLY COME AWAY AT THE HINGE BUT STILL ATTACHED. THERE IS A PENNED NAME ON THE FFEP. THE BINDING IS TIGHT. THERE IS FOXING TO THE PAGE EDGES BUT THE TEXT IS CLEAR. PAGES GENERALLY APPEAR CLEAN AND CREASE FREE. ALL IN ALL A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS BOOK.

First edition hard back binding in publisher's original plum cloth covers, black lettering to the spine, black perimeter line to the upper panel. 8vo 9½'' x 6¼'' x, 288 [pp]. Monochrome illustrations throughout. Front end paper missing, light foxing to the half-title and page edges and in Very Good square and tight condition, spine sharp and not faded, no dust wrapper.
