Collated, lacking the 'Plan of London', which is usual for this work.A comprehensive study of London's history, from the landing of Julius Caesar to the start of the nineteenth century, covering the control of the Romans, Saxons, Danes, and Normans. Hunter passed away before the completion of this work, and the publisher Stockdale with the assistance of hacks completed the work for publication.
