The letters are on headed paper from hCrist Church, Oxford and Whorlton Hall, Barnard Castle. The subject matter relates to their professional lives and their friendship; Headlam gives reassurance to Turner and asks for advice; discussion on lectures and college tutoring. / Cuthbert Hamilton Turner(1860Ð1930) was an English ecclesiastical historian and Biblical scholar. He was educated at Winchester School and New College, Oxford. He became a Fellow of New College, Oxford in 1889.
