Marked sunning to spine with ink stain towards the head. Book has a slight backward lean.

The subject matter relates to their professional lives and their friendship; Headlam gives reassurance to Turner and asks for advice; discussion on lectures and college tutoring. / Cuthbert Hamilton Turner(1860Ð1930) was an English ecclesiastical historian and Biblical scholar. He was educated at Winchester School and New College, Oxford. He became a Fellow of New College, Oxford in 1889. He became Dean Ireland's Professor of the Exegesis of Holy Scripture in the University of Oxford in 1920. / Arthur Cayley Headlam CH (1862Ð1947) was an English theologian who served as Bishop of Gloucester from 1923 to 1945.
