Übersetzt und herausgegeben von H. H. Leonhardt, der auch ein Vorwort, Quellen- und Literaturverzeichnis beisteuerte. Es handelt sich um den letzten Teil der Erinnerungen des Diplomaten an seine Mission am hannoverschen Königshof, laut Aussage des Herausgebers wurden Erinnerungen "rein privater Natur und solche, die von geringerem Interesse sind", fortgelassen oder verkürzt.
