From the rear cover:The Squire Car Manufacturing Company made a total of seven cars at Remenham between 1934 and 1936. The single-seater was dismantled; of those which remain three are in the US, one in New Zealand, and two in the UK. During the 1980s Phil Kennedy produced several 'Kennedy Squire' cars with bodywork similar to the Vanden Plas bodywork of the originals. Fifteen were made and four exported to Japan. Reginald Slay is the president of the Squire Car Sports Owners Club which fosters intterest in the marque. During 1993 a new production car bearing the Squire name is expected on the market, again based on the original Adrian Squire concept.Hardcover in dust jacket.
