These illustrations have been carefully removed from the pages of 'Punch' and pasted in.With numerous examples each of illustrations from such figures as cartoonist Reginald Cleaver, illustrator Everard Hopkins, caricaturist Phil May, and illustrator Bernard Partridge. All were regular contributors to the pages of Punch.Titled 'My Contributions to Punch', following the title page is a four page index, providing the title of each illustration, the date of the issue in which it appeared, and the page number within this volume. Each page features a hand-written number corresponding to plate number.Known for its humour and satirical tone, 'Punch' was founded in 1841 by Henry Mayhew and wood-engraver Ebenezer Landells, and is remembered for helping to coin the term 'cartoon'.With the monogram 'AR' in gilt to the front board.
