Zustand: Fair. 1928. No Edition Remarks. 284 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Moderate foxing and tanning to pages. Much more prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Rear free endpaper is torn in half. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with prominent staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has much heavier creasing and tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

1928 1st edition bund in red cloth with black lettering to front and spine; spine faded with light wear to top and bottom, especially bottom; discolouration spot to back panel. Page edges yellowed and lightly foxed. Internally, endpapers yellowed; scattered foxing to outer pages; a few other discolouration spots; otherwise, a good, clean copy. Used - Good. Good hardback (no dust jacket).
