Some light browning and spotting particularly to endpapers. Edges uncut and some pages unopened. Hinges cracked. Original paper covered boards and rubbed and chipped title label on green cloth spine. From the outside alone, I would not have rated this Very Good condition, but the inside is so nice that it makes up for the wear to the binding. A limited edition of 350 copies, of which 50 are Large Paper editions. This is copy number 3 of the Large Paper editions. It is initialed by the Taunton publishers on the limitation page. Book measures 10.5 x 13.5 inches. Printed in heavy hand made paper, and beautifully done. Folding map and 2 plates. Many pages are still uncut. Bookplate on the inside front cover with the name WIlliam B. Broadmead, and heraldic crest. Broadmead was one of the original subscribers to the book; his name is listed at the end. His residence is listed as Enmore Castle, Bridgewater. Because of the size of the book, international shipping will be more than the amount listed.…
