As with nearly all of Welles' efforts as a director, the film was plagued by financial and logistical problems, shot with nearly no budget, and received no promotion and a very limited release-but is now rightfully regarded as his final masterpiece. Nominated for the Palme d'Or, and winner of two other awards at Cannes in 1966. Shot on location in Spain. One photograph 11.75 x 9.5 inches, one photograph 11.5 x 9.5 inches. Very Good plus overall, with light creases and scratches.
