Hardcover. Zustand: New. Kaviraj Bankidaswas a very important and bold man. His boldness reflects in almost all his works. His works in Dingal and Pingal have been published and even now many manuscripts are discovered. The present work consists of 2776 historical happenings. It is very difficult to place them in a chronological order but Bankidas has not submitted himself to any pressure from any where. This proves that it was even difficult for the rulers of that time to influence him. In his concise writing he has rebuked the Rajput rulers who had gone weak, the fall of the Marathas and emergence as power of East India Company in strong words and some time satirical. He has not confined himself in the history of the Rajput dynasties, but has written. upon religion, geography, and customs. He has not binded himself with a definite discipline but has taken full freedom in compiling his notes.
