A good hardback with burgundy leather spine with lightly raised bands and gilt decoration. Boards covered with red linen. With some light rubbing, bumping and shelf wear to covers. With owner's presentation inscription to first free endpaper. Endpapers with red marbled paper, reinforced with red linen cloth at gutter. Cracked to gutter after a blank endpaper near front, and before the final index paper at rear, but all soundly bound. With portrait frontispiece, and illustrated with a further 3 Plates - all present as called for. Text is bright and clean throughout with occasional scattered spot. Text block with some light spotting to edges. With black tinted top edge to text block. Text in English. xxvi + 387pp + (Plates). Dimensions: Approximately 222mm high x 152mm wide x 55mm deep.
