(ca. 1845) 8vo. c.p. 8 hand col'd maps, light browning to text and extremities a little rubbed, maps have faint foxing but overall nice and bright, in original card wraps,which are a little grubby and a little crumpled, with later green reinforcing tape to spine, Images on request. very scarce in this format - (publishers' printed wrappers). Rueben Ramble 'maps are costly and difficult to obtain" Booth - Looking at Old Maps. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Cloth. Zustand: Very Good. First Edition. Book measures 22x17.5.cm. Pictorial frontis and title, printed title, 40 early wash coloured lithographic plates. Bound in original publishers red embossed cloth, gilt label on top board. Cloth lightly rubbed, rebacked, retaining most of the original spine. Generally binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, new endpapers, original free endpaper has a gift inscription dated 1846, 1 map torn, but repaired, some occasional browning. Pages in good clean condition. A very nice copy. F Size: 8vo.

Engraved surface 16.5cm x 20.5cm Map originally engraved for Miller?s New Miniature Atlas 1810. Republished in 1845 by Ramble, he added lithographed illustrations around the map featuring topographical and genre representations of the County - scarce.
