Percezioni che oggi sono quasi disciolte nell'effetto, devastante, che invece hanno prodotto le guerre moderne, e il primeggiare di nuovi imperialismi. Se volessimo, tuttavia, ambientare questi miti primigeni dell'origine, delle origini, potremmo farlo ancora (forse) rifuggendo il presente e fingendoci come nei notturni dialoghi ottocenteschi tra l'infinito e i pastori erranti dell'Asia. Dialoghi metafisici che ci trasportano su temi universali, in paesi lontani, in tempi remoti, e in un tempo che nell'antica Mesopotamia non può che risultare quello delle culture archeologiche di Sumer e di Accad.
