Black and white original photograph showing a march through a large crowd in celebration of the downfall of the Gang of Four in front of Tian'anmen in Beijing. Photograph is laid down on a small envelope which has a handwritten dated note about the event on the reverse. Photograph size 5.7 x 7.8cm. Parade of workers with hands held high, large character banners and Tian'anmen gate are all clearly visible. Photo was in the collection of the Chongqing Workers' Cultural Palace.
