Significant opportunities are now emerging for enhancing organized milk production processing and marketing. The government policies over the years are becoming congenial for investment in the dairy sector. The dynamics of present scenario calls for a protecting visionary approach in diary sector. There is a need to sensitize farmers in the eastern and north eastern region and adjoining stats to adopt scientific diary farming on a large scale in order to improve their socio-economic status.
