[31] pp. "From an Original Publication by McLoughlin Bros., New York 1898" [title page]; the book contains [12] pp. of text describing how pre-20th century children found diversions and means of entertaining themselves, even without what children today consider to be essential tools for doing so; with hand-colored illustrations throughout depicting the fun and games of childhood from days gone by, including three full page illustrations: Leap Frog, Pease Porridge Hot and Tag, and seven double page illustrations: Pop Goes the Weasel, London Bridge, Blind Man Buff, The Mulberry Bush, Follow the Leader, Soap Bubbles and Forfeit; internally fine except as noted above. The condition of the book is FINE. Only one copy located on OCLC/WorldCat (University of Delaware Library: Hugh M. Morris Library) and that copy is not hand-colored or numbered.
