A flyer promoting the noted Boston punk/new wave nightclub, Spit, mentioning that one could get into Spit for free on Wednesday, September 8th, if one brought their Clash ticket stub. The Clash played at the Orpheum in Boston on Tuesday, September 7th, 1982, promoting their Combat Rock album. The flyer has a poor reproduction of the Combat Rock album art. Spit opened in 1979 and immediately became the spot to be to enjoy punk, new wave and attitude. It closed in 1987, becoming another noted Boston venue, the Axis. VERY GOOD condition. Faint pink discoloration along the right edge. Reverse with an area of soiling/staining.…
