The restaurant was later passed down to her father and then herself, and became famous for the fresh fish and shellfish that was delivered daily by train from the sea, a novelty at the time.Madame Prunier later went on to open the Prunier St James's restaurant in London. Written by Simone Prunier, known as Madam Prunier, who was a French restaurateur and food writer who established a well-known French restaurant in London. In publisher's original cloth binding.
