Untrimmed printed front- and plain back wrappers from the regular issue laid-in. Rippling on inside of front- and rear cover. Small sticker of bookseller pasted on inside of front board. Box with minor rubbing on edges. Near fine condition. Rare edition on the art of silversmithing by Dunstan Pruden (1907-1974), demonstrating the simplicity and clarity of his unique approach.

No Binding. Zustand: Fine. This arrestingly stylized wooden engraving of mother and child is signed in graphite lower right: "Dunstan Pruden." Image size: 4 1/2" x 3 1/8". Printed on a sheet of 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" heavy wove paper. Dunstan Pruden [aka Alfred Charles Pruden] (1907-1974), silversmith and sculptor, taught at Brighton College of Art for more than thirty years. He was influenced by Eric Gill and the Guild of St. Dominic which published his significant work. Silversmithing: Its Principles and Practice in Small Workshops. Condition: Fine condition.
