The novel was first published in 1949 and was a Newbery Honor recipient in 1950. Very Good condition book in Very Good condition dust wrapper with old dried sello removed from around the spine ends leaving a little yellowing of the paper to these areas, short closed tear to the foot of the front fore edge, not price clipped 9s 6d.
