Some rough crossed out notes on lower cover and a note saying re-read 1992 on title page and a reference to Film (Slides). Handwritten verse describing a trip to the Lake District with Puck her dog and a friend called Frances probably Procter, both teachers they later collaborated on a book on Village and Town Signs in Norfolk. Miller sketches and takes photographs revelling in the vivid colours around her while struggling with the unpredictable weather. Philippa "Pippa" Miller (1905-2006) Norfolk writer, painter and photographer attended Lowestoft School of Art. She and Frances Procter, a teaching colleague collaborated on the above mentioned book and researched pill boxes in the area. Later in life Miller had two exhibitions in Norwich Cathedral. The first was concerned with her artistic record of wartime Norwich and the second focused on her Broadland scenes. Very good. Very good. Signedes.
