Bibliografía. Horac…io Coppola (1906-2012) es uno de los fotógrafos argentinos más relevantes del siglo XX. Activo desde fines de 1920, rápidamente se vinculó a las expresiones más renovadoras del arte, primero en la Argentina y luego en Alemania. En Berlín, asistió a la Bauhaus y allí se relacionó con Grete Stern, con quien contrajo matrimonio. De regreso en su país, participó de los proyectos más importantes referidos a Buenos Aires, ciudad que registró en las distintas series que le dedicó. Estuvo próximo a la revista Sur y a los intelectuales más relevantes de los años treinta y cuarenta. Publicó varios libros, entre ellos Buenos Aires 1936 (Visión fotográfica) y Esculturas de Antonio Francisco Lisboa O Aleijadinho (1955). De una actividad incesante, las décadas siguientes lo vieron continuar con sus investigaciones e incorporar el color en sus fotografías, realizar distintas series documentales, junto con su segunda mujer Raquel Palomeque, formular Imagema y desarrolló una importante actividad pedagógica. A los 103 años de edad, Coppola goza de un reconocimiento público y desde hace varias décadas sus fotografías están presentes en las más importantes exposiciones. Libro de fotografías. Arte.
