In den WarenkorbSigned limited edition, number 30 of 55 copies signed by Earl Mountbatten, the president of the Society of Genealogists, who writes in his foreword that McNaughton is "the greatest Royal genealogist I know of. His book is a masterpiece in simple presentation of all available facts in a complex study". McNaughton's book remains the standard reference on British royal genealogy. The product of 22 years of research, it charts all legitimate descendants of King George I and, through their intermarriages, traces the family trees of other European royals. The 12,500 names are meticulously indexed and accompanied by extensive tables and illustrations. A trade edition was issued by Garnstone Press the same year. 3 vols, quarto. Original blue morocco by Zaehnsdorf, spines lettered in gilt, gilt crown to front covers, gilt turn-ins, silk moire endpapers, gilt edges. Housed in original red cloth slipcase. Slight fraying to slipcase extremities, else a fine copy.
