Dated from original publisher's advertisements to front and rear, which are dated 1875. A short, informative work on the planting and laying out of small gardens. In a cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and marks to boards. Spine browned with wear to head and tail. Light dampstaining to boards. Tidemarks to endpapers and pastedowns. Ink stamp to front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with scattered spots and tidemarks to first and last few pages. Good. book.
