In den WarenkorbNo binding. Zustand: Very Good. Lucio Pozzi, David Shapiro & Rudy Burckhardt. A Song For Lynn Umlauf (The Poetry Mailing List Vol. VI No. 1). New York: The Mailer's Press, 1979. Unbound sheets, in folder and envelope. 14 pages + unique handmade linen piece. Folder: 7.125" by 5.5". Very good. Light unobtrusive toning and soiling.… David Shapiro's signature on the folder is lightly smeared. The envelope shows remnants of glue where it was sealed and has a couple small tears and creasing. Overall, a handsome copy of this scarce publication with a unique addition and signed by David Shapiro and Lucio Pozzi. A copy of A Song by David Shapiro and Rudy Burckhardt also known as The Poetry Mailing List Vol. VI No. 1 commandeered by artist Lucio Pozzi as a birthday present for the late painter Lynn Umlauf complete with a unique inscribed piece of linen. A single poem by David Shapiro across 6 pages (two copies of the first page present) with 8 accompanying printed photographs by Rudy Burckhardt. Laid in is a piece of linen folded twice, with one side stapled to itself. Written on it in pen "Completing the line A twin-gift for Umlauf and Shapiro For Birthday Lucio 1-7 Jan 1978". The line is, indeed, drawn with two different hands and, seemingly, pens. The small manila envelope is signed by David Shapiro and Rudy Burckhardt with the title "A Song for Lynn Umlauf" unlike other copies which are simply titled "A Song". The manila envelope fits inside a yellow envelope on which is written "Lucio Pozzi David Shapiro Rudy Burchart (sic) for Lynn Umlauf's B'Day 1978". Signed by Author(s).
