Potter, this collection mainly consists of verses written by Brooke into books that subsequently fell into Potters hands.Brooke was an English poet known for his idealistic war sonnets written during the First World War, especially "The Soldier". He passed away in 1915 following a mosquito bite whilst aboard a French hospital ship.Housed in a folding cloth portfolio and morocco backed slip case.The publication was not authorized by his family. In the publisher's original paper-vellum backed paper covered boards, housed in cloth covered portfolio, and morocco backed slip case. Back strip lightly age toned, otherwise externally excellent.
