Collated, complete. Seven copper-plate engravings, and thirteen wood engravings to 'Volume II'. Collated, lacking the frontispiece, title page, dedications and the first two pages of the preface. Two plates are mentioned in the plate list which were to be added to volume I, which are not present. Two additional plates included to the supplement.Written by Thomas Walker Horsfield, a topographer and historian best known for this work and his later title focusing on the broader history of Sussex; this was considered a standard history in its day.
