Coptic manuscripts from the Dutch Antiquities Museum at Leiden, published according to the orders of the government. Contains Biblical manuscripts from J. H. Insinger, a Dutch merchant living in Egypt, liturgical and manuscripts relating to Saints, sermons, epistles, the revelations of the resurrection and the altar, among others, and the J. Anastasy manuscripts. Most leaflets are kept in the National Library at Paris, but there are a few in Berlin, London, and the United States; others are still in the hands of antiquity dealers. Text in French and Coptic. Library barcode and sticker on binding, library bookplate on inside front, library pocket, numeric stamp and binder's sticker on inside back cover. Library stamps to top and bottom edges. Block somewhat age-toned. Binding and interior in very good condition.
